This new look for the Tucson comes with a slight price increase, but it's well worth it for all the added features Hyundai has managed to squeeze into it. At Fitzgerald Hyundai, we want you to be prepared for when this new and improved 2022 Hyundai Tucson is driving around Alexandria, VA, so here are some of the highlights of what's changed for the 2022 model year.

Bigger and Better

Passenger space has increased in the Tucson by 6.0 cubic feet, up to 108 cubic feet, and cargo space is up 18 cubic feet—80 cubic feet with the seats down compared to the 2021's 61.9. With that increase in size comes a redesigned body. It has a more rugged look than the 2021 Tucson, but also bolder and sharper, which is sure to attract attention in Baltimore. The front grille fades seamlessly into the triangle headlights, and the taillights sport a resonant design with smaller triangles.

The 2022 Hyundai Tucson also comes with new trims on offer. Not only will it have hybrid trims available, discussed below, but will now also have an N Line trim that gives this SUV a new sporty look on the streets of Arlington, VA.

Hybrid Option

The 2022 Tucson will have hybrid options in three trim levels: Hybrid Blue, Hybrid SEL Convenience and Hybrid Limited. Hyundai also promises two plug-in hybrid models: the Plug-in Hybrid Blue and Plug-in Hybrid Limited. With these options, you can ensure you get both the features and the efficiency you're looking for in Washington, D.C. from this Hyundai SUV.
